Know Your Customer (KYC), Age and Verification Policy

Our Know Your Customer checks are designed to confirm that an account represents a real adult, reduce impersonation and fraud, prevent underage access and support a safer member community.

These checks are used for platform access and safety. SwingDesire does not use KYC to facilitate financial transactions between members, because member-to-member payments are not permitted.

SwingDesire membership is currently available only to people aged 21 or over who currently live in the United Kingdom.

You must meet both requirements when creating an account and while using the member platform.

Age, identity and profile verification are mandatory before access to the SwingDesire member platform is granted.

Members cannot access profiles, photographs, messages, groups, events or other community features until all required checks have been completed and approved.

Verification may include identification documents, date-of-birth checks, selfies, face comparison and profile-authenticity checks. Both partners represented by a couple account must complete the required checks.

Verification confirms that the required checks were completed at a particular time. It does not guarantee another member’s character, intentions, relationship status, conduct or future behaviour.

Submitting false documents, using another person’s identity or attempting to bypass age checks may result in immediate account restriction or removal.

We may temporarily restrict an account while age concerns are investigated. Content may be preserved or reported where legally required or necessary to protect a child.

We aim to collect only the information reasonably required for the check. Verification providers may process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual and security controls.
