Reporting a member or content
Use the in-platform report option where available. You can also submit a report through our Contact page.
Provide the username, relevant content, approximate date and a clear description of what occurred.
What happens after a report
We may review relevant account activity, content and communications. We may contact the reporter or reported member for further information where appropriate.
Possible outcomes include no action, guidance, content removal, a warning, feature restriction, temporary suspension or permanent removal.
Urgent situations
If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services. Reports involving suspected criminal activity may also be made directly to the police.
Appealing a decision
A member may ask us to reconsider a warning, content removal, suspension or account closure. Appeals should explain why the decision may be incorrect and include any relevant evidence.
An appeal does not automatically restore content or account access while the review takes place.
Privacy complaints
Privacy concerns should clearly identify the information involved and the outcome requested. You may also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
