PDI Lifestyle Review: Inside Birmingham’s Themed Swingers Club

On Saturday 31 October 2026 we went to the Halloween Special at PDI Lifestyle in Aston, Birmingham, and we’re still talking about the decor.

In the interest of honesty: we know Glen and Suzzana, the owners, well, and Sean built PDI’s new website. As always, though, this is our honest take on the club and the night, just as it is for every Club Spotlight.

PDI Lifestyle Review: Our First Impressions

We stayed in a hotel about five minutes down the road and grabbed an Uber, which is the easiest way to do a night in Birmingham. We’d been to PDI before to meet Glen and Suzzana, so we already knew our way around, but if it’s your first visit, the club offers new guests a guided tour at the start of the evening.

The first thing that hits you about PDI is that it’s much bigger than it looks from outside. It’s genuinely deceiving. And the second thing is how much work has gone into it.

The Halloween Night: Decor Like We’ve Never Seen

We’ve been to a lot of themed nights now, and we’ve never seen decor like this. There was a whole spider room. Life-size skeletons and figures were everywhere you looked: a skeleton propping up a cobweb-covered bar, a hooded grim reaper looming by the pool table, witches stirring a glowing cauldron, and a creepy doll on a rocking horse that we’re still not over. The detail was mad. It must have cost thousands, and you could tell someone had put serious time into every corner of it.

It’s one thing to put up a few decorations and call it a theme night. It’s another to turn an entire club into something that feels like a proper Halloween experience. PDI did the second.

And honestly, it took us about an hour to get from one side of the room to the other, because we kept bumping into people we knew. That’s the kind of night it was.

Inside PDI: Themed Rooms on Every Floor

You walk in through reception and straight into the bar and dance floor. Down a few steps there’s a social area with a pool table, which is very much the heart of the club, with rooms all around it. That’s where you’ll find a dungeon and a couple of other rooms, which you can keep private or leave open, whatever you prefer.

Upstairs to the right there’s a second bar and another large area with more rooms. Then, through a door on the left of the stairs, is where the adventure really starts.

Every room is themed, and we mean properly themed. There’s a limo, a taxi, an ambulance, a hot tub, a cinema room, a sauna and a medical-themed room, and that’s just what we saw. There’s another whole floor with even more rooms, including a school room, but that was closed off for this event, which made sense.

Glen clearly isn’t finished either. We’ve had a sneak peek at what’s coming next, and we can’t say any more yet, but it’s very good. Glen’s aiming to make PDI the best themed club in the UK, and on what we’ve seen, he’s well on his way.

The Crowd: Busy, Friendly and Well Vetted

We’d guess there were around 200 people there, maybe more, and it never felt like hard work. It was a genuinely nice crowd: friendly, mixed and not cliquey at all. There were a few single men, and there were no issues whatsoever. Everyone was clearly well vetted, and it showed in how relaxed the whole night felt.

Warm, Which Matters More Than You’d Think

This might sound like a small thing, but after visiting as many clubs as we have, it really isn’t: PDI was properly heated. We’ve been to plenty of clubs that are freezing, and nothing kills the mood faster. Here it was warm all night. The vaping area outside was cold, as you’d expect on the last night of October, but there were outdoor heaters to take the edge off.

The Bar at PDI Lifestyle

PDI has a licensed bar downstairs and a second one upstairs. Prices were average for a club night, and it’s pay as you go.

PDI Lifestyle: A Themed Swingers Club in Birmingham

Birmingham has one of the busiest lifestyle scenes in the Midlands, and if you’re after a swingers club in Birmingham that goes beyond the ordinary, PDI should be top of your list for themed rooms and a big night. Being in Aston, it’s easy to reach from across the West Midlands, including Wolverhampton, Coventry, Solihull and Walsall. Whether you’re local to Birmingham or travelling from elsewhere in the West Midlands, it’s well worth considering for a night out. For the wider picture, including other clubs in the area, read our guide to swinging in Birmingham.

Would We Recommend PDI to Someone New?

Yes. The guided tour for new guests takes a lot of the nerves out of a first visit, the crowd is friendly and well vetted, and the social area around the pool table makes it easy to settle in before you decide whether to explore further. And if you’re the kind of couple who loves something a bit different, the themed rooms are an experience in themselves.

Our Verdict

PDI is a club built by someone who clearly loves what he’s doing. The themed rooms are unlike anything we’ve seen, the Halloween decor was on another level, the crowd was great, and it was warm from start to finish. Glen and Suzzana have put thousands into this place, and they’re still going.

Our overall rating: 5 / 5

If you’re in Birmingham or anywhere in the West Midlands and want a swingers club that goes all out, PDI should be on your list.
